Transition Inspections are done in order to verify that your building
is built according to the plans, specifications, code requirements and industry standards. GCCI inspects
all of the building's visible mechanical, electrical, architectural and structural components for compliance.
A completed transition inspection report
will provide you with expert information as to whether or not there are construction deficiencies
or latent defects that can cost from hundreds to millions of dollars to repair, as well as the documentation needed by the
Association and/or Owner(s) for future reference.
It is to your benefit to have this inspection completed prior to the Contractor/Developer relinquishing
ownership of the building to the Association and/or Owner(s).
GCCI has also completed a number of Transition Inspections for Developers during the building
phase, including a peer review of the structural design prior to pouring concrete, so that the entire building process
is documented, and a completed Transition Inspection Report can be turned over to the Association and/or Owner(s) at the appropriate
time.
A Transition Inspection
completed during the construction process can be the best building insurance a Developer, Association and/or Owner(s) can
have.
